Simulant (2023)

Robbie Amell's thrilling movie Simulant proved to the world that this famous cousin (he comes as a set with Stephen Amell, and we won't hear otherwise) is leading man material. He plays an artificially intelligent robot named Evan who is created to help a grieving widow named Faye (Jordana Brewster) . Evan takes his job seriously and goes to great lengths to have any sort of government restrictions on AI learning lifted so that he can comfort Faye to the best of his abilities. What he does is create an AI uprising that the world has never seen before. Plus, Evan hot. We will take any opportunity that we can to see either of the Amells shirtless, and Robbie finds a handful of opportunities here to showcase the magic going on under his shirt. Do we see Robbie Amell nude in Simulant? Sadly this robot is only programmed to tease, not to get us off. But we take what we can get. Robbie still makes us throbbie!
