Alice, Darling (2022)

Alice, Darling (2022) marks the feature directorial debut of Mary Nighy, daughter of Oscar nominated actor Bill Nighy. Anna Kendrick stars as the title character whose two best friends Tess (Kaniehtiio Horn) and Sophie (Wunmi Mosaku) decide to stage an intervention to get her away from her abusive boyfriend Simon (Charlie Carrick), whisking her away to a cabin in the woods for the weekend. However, when Simon gets wind of what is going down, he sets out to reclaim the woman he feels is his, whatever the cost and whatever it takes. Thankfully the film is not all dark and in the film's sexiest scene, Charlie Carrick strips down to his underwear which he bulges out while Kendrick dry humps him fully clothed!
