The Canterbury Tales (1972)

Mix Brit lit with copious shots of ass, dick and tit and you've got yourself The Canterbury Tales (1972). Salo (1975) director Pier Paolo Pasolini puts an X-rated spin on the classic story of storytelling but doesn't cover every tale our weary travelers tell in Geoffrey Chaucer's story collection from the late 1300's. Instead, we get just eight of the tales themselves acted out with a wild amount of nudity. There's The Merchant's Tale about an old dude who goes blind which means he can't see that his young wife is making him a cuckold, and The Friar's Tale about two dudes getting narc'd on for committing sodomy. The Cook's Tale is all about an insane wedding gone awry, while The Miller's Tale is the story of a girl so pretty the whole town is lusting after her, whether married or not. The Reeve's Tale shoudl be called the beav's tale, since it revolves around bed swapping hijinks, but it's not as bawdy as The Pardoner's Tale which centers around a BDSM specializing brothel. Last but not least the Summoner's Tale is about a corrupt friar on paper but is really all about butt stuff including going to Hell and getting trapped in the Devil's rectum. Yeah, yeah, yeah there's a bunch of tales. But what about the tail? Chaucer's stories are the shot, but the nudity is the chaser in this dirty, dirty flick! Dan Thomas whips it out while in bed with a beautiful babe, as does David Hatton while he's having sex with Philip Davis. John McLaren unleashes his horsecock doing it doggy style in the stables, while Oscar Fochetti and Peter Cain stop at shirtlessness. And before you ask, yes Robin Askwith pulls out his pecker when railing a blonde as well as just to show a big crowd of people what he's working with. With all that action, no wonder we can't stop watching The Canterbury Tales!
