The Good Place (2016-2019)

NBC's smash hit comedy The Good Place kicked off in 2017 with one of the more original premises that network TV had seen in a while.Eleanor (Kristen Bell) is a recently deceased pharmaceutical sales representative who was a pretty scrupulous, amoral person when she was alive which is why she's so thrown off when she ends up in "The Good Place," which is essentially Heaven. After speaking with the architect who put her there (Ted Danson) she realizes she was mistaken for a much better person with the same name, but decides she'd rather not go to Hell, so she'll just keep up the ruse. Assigned a soulmate she obviously doesn't jive with (William Jackson Harper), she tries to play nice until one day she realizes the Buddhist Monk Jianyu Li (Manny Jacinto) is actually a DJ from Jacksonville who also got mistakenly put there. What's going on? Well in one of the most brilliant TV twists of all time we find out that this is actually the bad place, and all that annoying niceness that pisses our people off is actually torture! We won't spoil any more of the twists that came over the course of four seasons, but we will talk about all the good shirtless scenes! We want to go to The Good Place real, real bad because hottie Luke Guldan is there! As a secret demon using his over-the-top sex appeal to distract our recently deceased posse, we are lusting after Luke while he takes off his T-shirt to show the true visual benefits of working out. Keep working out that core, Luke. You look like an angel! William Jackson Harper is supposed to be an intelligent, philosophical nerd, but when he takes his shirt off to stand in front of a sprinkler he is weirdly jacked! And since he's supposed to be a monk, it only makes sense that Manny Jacinto has the kind of lean torso those kung fu masters all have! Great bod, great face: these dudes have it all on The Good Place!
