The Grifters (1990)

A smart and suspenseful tale of competing mother and son con artists, The Grifters (1990) is a film with style, violence, heat and sex. Clearly momma Anjelica Huston loves her son John Cusack, but even the black widow spider feels affection for her offspring as she eats them alive. Throw into this tug and pull of love and loathing the amorous advances of super-ambitious moll Annette Bening, add a triple-cross betrayal and a presumed murder, and the mother-son relationship becomes uncommonly strained...but not as strained as the zipper on your jeans when you get a load of John's stiff nips and hairy pits lying shirtless in bed.
