You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll wish there was some dudity while watching the romantic dramedy Living Out Loud (1998) not to be confused with the Aaron Lines album Living Out Loud (2004). Under the pen and direction of Richard LaGravenese, we meet Judith Moore (Holly Hunter). She’s a middle-aged lady who gave up everything for her husband Bob (Martin Donovan). But he turns out to be a heel when it’s revealed he’s been having an extramarital affair. As such, Judith befriends her building superintendent Pat Francato (Danny DeVito) since he’s lonely too. They engage in a long “will they or won’t they?” relationship. But by the time Judith finally decides to embrace him, he’s moved on. Along the way, she and her friend Liz Bailey (Queen Latifah) explore their single lives in New York City. As you can guess, the Big Apple is bursting with tasty men — one of whom shows off his Fruit of the Looms! Yes, a sexy masseur (Eddie Cibrian) proves to be a tempting treat when he takes off his shirt to tout his tanned torso. If that’s not hot enough, Mr. Cibrian sizzles on screen when he drops his drawers to bare his bulging briefs! Unfortunately, he’s the only man candy this movie offers. Perhaps that’s why the film’s CinemaScore is a B−. Had Eddie exposed his butt and junk, we’re sure this pic would have received an A+! As it stands, Living Out Loud has Mr. Man lusting out loud for much more flesh flashing!
