The Heart of Me (2002)

The Heart Of Me is a period romance that takes place in London in the years leading up to World War II. Pay attention, because things are about to get messy. Straight messy. Paul Bettany plays a man named Rickie who is married to a woman named Madeleine (Olivia Williams) but has eyes for her bohemian artist sister Dinah (Helena Bonham Carter). He's able to keep his shiz together right up until Dinah announces that she is to be married. Her betrothed thinks poorly of her and is more attracted to Madeleine. The idea of his beloved Dinah getting with this capital A-hole is too much for Rickie, and he tells her to break things off, and afterward eventually caves in and has sex with her. Unprotected straight sex! Well, Dinah gets pregnant with Rickie's baby, and goes off to give birth in secret. Sadly the baby does not make it, the first of many things that will throw a wrench in this affair between Dinah and Rickie. Even though Madeleine is furious after finding out about everything, she stays with Rickie, leaving Dinah out in the cold. She leads a bitter life, which we assume is made a little sweeter when both Rickie and his son with Madeleine die. Karma's a bitch Rick. Sisters Dinah and Madeleine make amends in the end, proving that family really is everything. Paul Bettany shows his ass in bed during a hookup with Dinah! Plus Tom Ward even throws in some shirtless action for good measure during a shower scene. Forget The Heart Of Me, we want The Ass Of Men!
