Review

A radical distillation of Dutch novelist Harry Mulisch’s 900-page tome on the intersections of religion, philosophy, and everyday life, The Discovery of Heaven (2001) is an epic metaphysical voyage about a cosmic wrestling match between man and God. Weary of the depravity on Earth, God decides to abandon his covenant with man and sends an angel to retrieve the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. But because humans are a strong-willed lot, the angel runs into more trouble than he imagined since he can't figure out a way to get himself back on earth. Moving to plan B, God decides to have a pair of buddies (Stephen Fry and Greg Wise) knock up their cello playing friend (Flora Montgomery) and make their baby grab him the tablets instead. That boy is Quinten (Neil Newbon), who we'll watch grow up and slowly discover that he's destined for greatness. Even if he's not sure which dude is his dad. Of course, if you’d prefer to skip the metaphysical mumbo jumbo, you might discover heaven via the beautiful backside of Greg Wise as he constantly finds himself in between the legs of a beautiful woman. He's the suave ladies' man Max Delius, who brings max effort into his thrusting if the moans of pleasure and the glute flexes are to be believed! His best buddy is the portly, shy Onnus who we've be more than happy to have on us! Stephen Fry plays him, and you'll wants fry with that after seeing his bare ass in front of a window when a kitchen sex session gets interrupted. Mr. Man would love to do it like they do on the Discovery Channel with him! What a heavenly pair of hunks we get to see showing off their buns in The Discovery of Heaven!
