The Impossible (2012)

Remember the tsunami of 2004? If the myriad of other tragedies the world has suffered since has washed away (too soon?) your memory, then get a refresher course with the disaster drama The Impossible (2012). Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor star as Maria and Henry, British tourists who have the misfortune of being on vacation in Thailand when a tsunami hits on December 26, 2004. In the aftermath, a badly injured Maria and the couple's oldest son Lucas (Tom Holland) are separated from Henry and their other two children. Now amid the chaos, the family must attempt to find each other. Not exactly a feel-good story, but Mr. Man Hall-of-Famer Ewan will turn that frown upside down when he shows off his fine physique in his briefs and swim trunks. It’s impossible not to aroused by Ewan!
