The Machine (2023)

Based on the real life story told during the stand up routine that made comedian Bert Kreischer a viral sensation, this action comedy stars the notorious dad bod baring performer as a version of himself trying to win back his oldest daughter’s love by throwing her a Sweet Sixteen party. Unexpectedly, the party is crashed by both his estranged father (Mark Hamill) and a Russian mobster named Irna (Iva Babic). You see, twenty three years ago, college student Bert (Jimmy Tatro) took a class trip to Russia and found himself in the country’s seedy underworld thanks to one of their local chaperones, Igor (Nikola Duricko). He ends up getting drunk and stealing a watch, one that Irina wants back so she kidnaps Bert and his dad and brings them to Russia to help her find it. Like in all of his comedy shows, there’s plenty of the shirtless Bert his fans have come to expect, although Jimmy and his buffer frame as young Bert is a bit easier on the eyes. Most muscles though goes to Robert Maaser as a violent tattooed mobster, while most nude gets awarded to Radivoj Knežević, who bares his behind an hour and eleven minutes in. And with that, we’re what you might call well-oiled!
