The Men’s Club (1986) asks the question, “What would a bunch of aging married guys kvetch about if they got together for a bullshit session?” The answer is a lot. But at least once they’re finished whining, they visit a posh brothel in San Fran to replace their loose lips with some stiffies! Based on the debut novel “The Men’s Club” (1981) by Leonard Michaels, this R rated flick follows Harold Canterbury (Frank Langella) who shows off his hairy chest while in bed with a chick. In another room, Cavanaugh (Roy Scheider) flashes his abs when he turns on Page (Ann Dusenberry). We guess that makes Roy a page-turner! Back at home, his wife Sarah (Helen Shaver) reluctantly wakes up when a shirtless Cavanaugh puts in his request for sex. Spoiler alert: the answer is no. Luckily for Terry (Treat Williams), he’s treated to some splashy action thanks to a lady named Lake (Penny Baker). Meanwhile, Solly Berliner (Harvey Keitel) mixes business with pleasure when he hooks up with a prostitute called Allison (Marilyn Jones). As such, we get to glance at Mr. Keitel’s bare chest, muscular back and shapely gams at the 01:21:30 mark. If that’s not hot enough, Harvey also reveals his rump! Under the direction of Peter Medak, the movie includes Craig Wasson, David Dukes, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Richard Jordan. Although this pic has a low rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the flesh featured feels fresh to us. Why else would Mr. Man want to join The Men’s Club?!
