Two Lovers (2008)

If the incomparably sexy Joaquin Phoenix stars in a movie called Two Lovers (2008), we'd like to be both of them, please!  Phoenix stars in this romantic drama as Leonard Kraditor, a depressed bachelor who is picking up the pieces after his fiancee leaves him.  He moves back in with his folks in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn to try and salvage his sanity and suddenly meets two women in quick order.  One is his parent's business partner's daughter, Sandra (Vinessa Shaw), who is seemingly the perfect fit for Leonard.  Sexy, smart, and direct with her affections towards him.  The other is Michelle (Gwyneth Paltrow), blonde, bemused, fun, and in love with a married man; who is only looking for a shoulder to cry on...  How can our dear Joaquin choose between the two, the safe choice or the sexy choice?  The Blonde versus the Brunette?  The Ginger or the Mary-Ann?  Ahh!!!  As long as Joaquin keeps taking his shirt off, we will keep watching as this drama unfolds while Leonard waffles between his two options.  While lacking in the nudity department, Juicy Joaquin does strip off that shirt twice for your viewing pleasure while delivering an adorable stammering character study of a man falling for multiple women.
