Uncorked (2020)

Ah, the classic tale of high class - low class culture clash.  Uncorked is centered around a father/son duo from different sides of the culinary world.  Elijah (Mamoudou Athie), who is young and focused on becoming a master wine sommelier and Louis (Courtney B. Vance) the patriarch of the family and a classic pitmaster at a Memphis Barbecue joint that wants his son to carry down the family tradition of smoking meats and making sauces, while jr. wants to move out to California and become the wine aficionado of his day!  Can these two handle a culinary curveball of fine dining beverage service and what is considered low-brow eats being in the same world?  Can father and son understand each other's side of the story?  Does Bordeaux go with rib tips???  We're going to find out in Uncorked!  While limited on the hunky nudity, we do get the lead Mamoudou Athie shirtless in a couple of scenes and talk about the body on this well aged wine!  We'd certainly like to uncork and drink that!
