WifeLike (2022)

In the future, robots will take all of our positions, including that of wife. That’s what writer-director James Bird posits in this sci-fi thriller that borrows from classics The Stepford Wives and Blade Runner to tell the story of a widower named William (Jonathon Rhys Meyer) who is assigned an AI companion (Elena Kampouris) that not only looks and acts like his late wife Meredith but also has been uploaded with some of her memories. William works for the AI’s company, Wifelike, tasked with recovering products of theirs that go missing, and he gets even further drawn into the workings of a mysterious organization bent on liberating the mechanized companions when the begin to target his own robot wife. As happens in many of the film’s predecessors, the companions are used mainly for one wifely duty in particular - sexual pleasure. That means we're gifted with a slow, sensual love scene complete with a nice view of Jonathon’s scratched up back and tempting tush that’ll make your own internal core overheat. That AI’s not the only one with a port he can plug into!
