Wild (2014)

Based on a memoir of the same name, Wild stars Reese Witherspoon as Cheryl Strayed, a beaten down gal looking to find herself on an eleven-hundred mile hike on the Pacific Coast Trail. When Cheryl’s mother, Bobbi (Laura Dern), succumbs to lung cancer at the age of forty-five, she is sent into a downward spiral that is punctuated by a sex and heroin addiction, which eventually leads to a divorce. With nothing left to lose, the nearly defeated dame puts on her hiking boots, grabs her backpack, and heads out on an amazing trek through Oregon and Washington, alone. As she meanders and stumbles her way through mile after mile of dusty trails, Cheryl’s life replays in a series of flashbacks, giving us looks at her sexual history, which allows us to indulge in some meaty ass from her hook-ups, Barry O’Neil and Peter Simpson. Also, we get a look at the hunky Michiel Huisman with his shirt off, and full-on but distant nudity from Kevin Rankin. These are some dudes that we’d like to get Wild with!
