Winter Boy is a moving French tear-jerker about a young man coping with the unexpected loss of his father. Still in the throes of adolescence, seventeen-year-old Lucas (Paul Kircher) must man up to support his grieving mother (Juliette Binoche) in the wake of this family tragedy. While his family life is fairly dire, the openly gay Lucas finds joy in boys! It wouldn't be a boner fide gay coming-of-age indie unless the protagonist got some strange along the way. Paul Kircher is a big-lipped curly-haired model hot Frenchie (think Louis Garrel, you know the type) and like the best of the French actors out there, he loves getting naked on camera.
