Review

An Almost Ordinary Summer (2019) is a delightful, sunny romp from writer and director Simone Godano about sweet and tender LGBT love between two older men. You love to see it, folks. In this story, two different families are brought together through marriage. Tale as old as time, right? Well, not in this story! The twist is that the two families are being united in marriage through their patriarchs when Carlo and Tony decide to get married. It's sweet, sexy love in this story set in the beautiful Italian countryside. Alessandro Gassman plays Carlo and Fabrizio Bentivoglio plays Tony. Alessandro isn't one for stripping, unfortunately, which sucks considering he seems like a strapping young lad. This hot salt-n-pepper haired hunk opts simply for kissing his lover, played by Fabrizio. They have a sensual smooch, but Alessandro leaves his shirt and pants on the entire time. Hey, at least he gives us something. For something more, please see Fabrizio Bentivoglio who is shirtless and sexy when he suns himself by the pool. The best scene comes when he is sunning himself naked in a lawn chair. A noise rouses him from his relaxing pose. He stands up, revealing a quick shot of his cock and balls from the front! We see the rest of the scene play out from the back which is where we get to drool over Fabrizio's tan-lined tush. This certainly isn't an ordinary summer because these two fabulous boys are making summer really sizzle!
