August Winds (2014)

A long-time celebrated documentarian, Gabriel Mascaro made an even bigger splash with his first feature film, August Winds (2014). Released in Gabriel’s native Brazil as Ventos de Agosto, the beautifully shot film tells the tale of young Shirley (Dandara de Morais), who is sent to the country to look after her aging grandmother. She takes a job driving a tractor at a coconut farm, and quickly develops a fiercely physical friendship with the fabulously foxy Jeison (Geova Manoel dos Santos). The beautiful photography of this film is only made more beautiful with a sexy subject like Geova Manoel dos Santos. This picturesque world is full of coconuts and palm trees, and we’ll see Geova’s coconuts and palm tree as he disrobes in the back of Shirley’s tractor. Due to Geova’s strict father, these two love birds are forced to make a habit of rubbing coconuts in the back of the tractor, on top of a towering pile of the fruit. The scenes are both hot, and well shot. Dandara de Morais  is the only professional actress in the outfit, but the rest of the cast hold their own with flying colors. Boy, when these August Winds are blowing, you’ll be dreaming of blowing Geová Manoel Dos Santos.
