Big Eden (2001)

Henry Hart (Arye Gross) is a gay artist from New York who returns to his rural Montana home town of Big Eden (2000) to care for his sick grandpa.  Unlike many small towns, Henry’s sexuality is well known and accepted.  Once back in Big Eden, Henry has to come to terms with his feelings for his high school pal Dean (Tim DeKay) and the idealistic vision he has of him.  All the while, Pike (Eric Schweig), the shy Native American owner of the general store pines for Henry, but as is usually the case; Henry is oblivious to Pike’s desires.  Big Eden is an idealized setting, bordering on Fairytaleville.

This is a heartwarming story of love and acceptance, so the amount of skin is limited, but fits the story.  DeKay is very buff and we witness him shirtless, causing Henry palpitations.  There are a few quick kisses and discreet touches, but no real man on man action.  Sometimes romance trumps naked action and Big Eden is a place where that holds true.
