Big Muddy (2014)

The modern-ish Western Big Muddy (2014) follows Martha Barlow (Nadia Litz), an untrustworthy grifter trying to come to terms with her dark past, one that is made darker by a terrible crime her son, Andy (Justin Kelly), committed. While on the run with her new man Tommy (Rossif Sutherland), she finds herself dodging her crazy revenge-filled former boyfriend, Donovan Fournier (David La Haye), an escaped convict who is on the run from the police, while trying to make amends with her son’s psychotic and long forgotten father. That’s a lot of questionable characters to get through to see Philip Granger with his shirt off and getting cozy with a stripper.
