Born Wild (2013)

In the world of cinema, a character’s fate depends on his or her birth. The lucky ones are Born To Win (1970) and Born a Champion (2021). Some protagonists are Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and Born Romantic (2001), while antagonists are Natural Born Killers (1994) and Born to Kill (2017). And somewhere in between is the anti-hero in Born Wild (2013). Not to be confused with the Steppenwolf song “Born to Be Wild” (1968), Dustin Rikert’s R-rated flick centers around biker CJ Jennings played by William Shockley, who co-wrote the screenplay with Rikert. The plot kicks in when CJ is released from prison for the self-defense murder of a fellow biker. He heads back to his hometown of Banshee, Texas to visit his dad Ray (Barry Corbin) and his ex-girlfriend Ricki (Tanya Clarke). Oh, yeah, he also wants to set things straight with his former biker gang: Billy Henley (Mickey Jones), Gilley Daniels (Cooper Huckabee), Kyle Rich (Brent Briscoe), and Will Brooks (Joe Lando). But CJ’s former biker buds are none too quick to hear his side of the story, nor are they willing to forgive him. As you might expect, an engine-revving, gun-shooting blood bath ensues. In between all of the fighting and shooting, Brody Locklin (Justin Deeley) bares his muscular back as he and his naked lady make love. Even though the sex scene is darkly-lit, we can make out the fine form of his raw rump during the hump. Life is a journey, enjoy the ride!
