In the great collective of hot ghosts in films such as Rex Harrison in The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947) or Patrick Swayze in Ghost (1990), why haven't they made any hot FRENCH ghosts??? Well until now that is with this French feature Burning Ghost aka Vif-argent (2019) and lucky for us, this spirit doesn't shy away from going full frontal to help ferry the dead to the other side. In this fantasy film out of France, we follow Juste (Thimotée Robart), who wanders the street of Paris day in and day out, until someone physically sees him. Once someone sees him, they are dead and ready to pass on, so he is simply there to help collect their last memories before he shepherds them off to the great hereafter. Time and time again, he's meeting old people, young people, happy people, sad people, all of whom have died in one way or another, so he does his best to help them understand and move on, while giving them a shoulder to cry on. That is until one day, the person who sees him, Agatha (Judith Chemla), knows him then Juste realizes that she is not someone he is there to help pass to the other side, she is someone from HIS past life and recognizes him. After they talk, the reflection of their life together way back when begins to come back. Leave it up to the French to make the ghosts sexy in this one and Thimotée Robart shows us the goods quite a bit in this one with a few full frontal scenes! If he's the first thing we see when we die, then we know we've made it to heaven!
