Ceasefire (2016)

Ceasefire (2016) is the story of Georges Laffont (Romain Duris) who was traumatized by the horrific trench warfare of the 1920s, but decides he has to leave his life behind and travel to West Africa. There he recruits the villagers to work on a plantation in Ghana. But when he arrives back home, he finds that his friends and family continued life without him, leaving him feeling lost for a place in this world.
