Inspired by the classic noir-western Spencer Tracy film Bad Day at Black Rock (1955), the Val Kilmer vehicle Conspiracy (2008) brings the concept into the 21st century. Kilmer stars as MacPherson, a Marine who was wounded in combat in Iraq and honorably discharged, losing his right leg just below his knee. Now he has moved to a ranch in New Mexico where he plans to live a solitary and quiet life when he catches wind that an old Marine buddy of his is living nearby in an Arizona border town. When MacPherson goes to visit his old friend, he discovers that he is missing and no one in town will even acknowledge that the man ever existed. MacPherson begins to think that there's a... wait for it... conspiracy at work here, but it runs so much deeper than he even realized. Not only is there a major corporation behind the conspiracy, the reasons for them needing his old partner's ranch and the nefarious motives behind erasing his friend from existence point to something that could not only spell doom for MacPherson himself, but the entire United States. It's one man against the world as MacPherson goes to war to not only find his old friend, but expose this vast conspiracy. The only conspiracy we can find at work in this flick is the one that keeps us from seeing Val Kilmer's dick! In a scene with some fancy cgi happening, Val is hosed down and we get a good look at his bare buns and balls, as well as the computer work that helped erase the bottom half of his right leg, but we think they might have digitally erased his cock as well. It's a conspiracy worth looking into!
