Detour (2016)

Often compared to the Gwyneth Paltrow comedy Sliding Doors (1998), the British thriller Detour (2016) uses the same unique narrative structure centered around one different decision in your life having a huge impact, though it replaces missing the subway with murder. Plus, there's a sexy leading man whose DM's we'd like to slide into! The film follows a young law student named Harper (Tye Sheridan) who fully believes his stepfather Vincent (Stephen Moyer) is responsible for the car accident that put his mother into a coma because he was looking for her cash. Harper is willing to do anything to see that his stepfather gets out of the picture, which is why things really get interesting when he meets local crook Johnny Ray (Emory Cohen) and his hooker girlfriend Cherry (Bel Powley). After Harper drunkenly tells him all of his problems, the pimp, thief and contract killer offers a solution. Johnny Ray's deal is simple: give him 20K and he'll head to Vegas and do the job, but once he signs up for the gig there is no going back. Does Harper take the deal? Well, in one version of events he doesn't, and instead goes and confronts Vincent on his own. In the other, he does, and we watch as Cherry, Johnny Ray and Harper hop into Johnny Ray's Mustang and set out for vengeance. Mr. Man doesn't really care which choice Harper makes, as long as he makes the choice to strip down at some point. This thriller takes a sexy detour when toned twink Tye Sheridan takes a steamy shower before changing into just his jeans to walk around in. His shower has a mirror in it, which is a bit odd, but it lets us get an even better look at the top half of his bod. His etched abs look so good that you'll wish the rest of the film featured Tye shirtless. Take it all off Tye and let us tour that D!
