Doc (1971)

There's a reason why some stories are told again and again, it's because the source material is just that good.  When it comes to westerns and the classic tales of good guys versus bad guys, you can't get better stories than the gun fight at the O.K. Corral between "The Cowboys" and the Earp brothers.  Wyatt Earp was a real life cowboy tough guy who you couldn't write better to fill the role of wild west Marshall, keeping the peace in a small western town where bad guys are running their special brand of evil over all the towns folk.  So the classic tale is Wyatt and his brothers come to find out that a group of drunk cowboys are in the O.K. Corral at the edge of town, illegally carrying guns and causing trouble.  So they go arm up with shotguns and the historical gunfight ensues.  The most interesting part of the story though isn't the good guys or the bad guys, it's the peripheral anti-hero, outlaw, and friend of Wyatt Earp, John "Doc" Holliday.  Wyatt and his brothers might have been the lawmen, but Doc was a card player, known murderer, famous partier, rumored bank/train robber, and slowly dying of tuberculosis.  This story focuses on Doc (Stacy Keach) and his "working girl" lady "Big Nose Kate" (Faye Dunaway) and how their story intermingles on the way into Tombstone, Arizona and leading up to Doc's deputization and eventual hand in the gunfight at the O.K. Corral.  Lucky for us too, we get a 30 year old Stacy Keach looking exceptionally sexy back in 1971, showing off that A+ booty and a sliver of man bush while having a tuberculosis coughing fit in bed.
