Drinking Buddies (2013)

Mumblecore master Joe Swanberg rolled the dice by crafting a completely improvised dialogue flick with the romantic drama Drinking Buddies (2013). Kate (Olivia Wilde) and Luke (Jake Johnson) are co-workers at a Chicago brewery who spend a lot of their days drinking and a lot of their nights flirting. They vibe together so well that most people assume they're a couple already. The problem is, Kate's going out with the shy guy Chris (Ron Livingston) and Luke's on the cusp of getting engaged to a girl named Jill (Anna Kendrick). The group decide to spend a weekend trip at a lakeside cottage, where Kate and Luke end up hooking up. Confronted with the feelings they've been trying to suppress; they decide to give it a shot. But after test driving a relationship, will they find that they're better off friends or that they need to ditch their significant others and head to the altar? We'd gladly drink to the hunks in this film. During the weekend getaway where Kate and Luke get each other off, babely buddies Ron Livingston and Jake Johnson jump into the lake without their shirts. Yeah buddy! We want to run in after those wet dudes, because they aren't the only ones who are soaking after that scene. In another piece of skinema, Ron shows off his sexy shirtless bod complete with black chest hair. That chest rug looks so soft that it's making us want to run our fingers through it.
