Ecstasy (2018)

Taking a euphoric page from Gustav Machatý’s romantic classic Ecstasy (1933), Jesus Franco’s chiller diller She Killed in Ecstasy (1971) and Christopher Sun’s racy romp 3-D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy (2011) is the fantastical thriller Ecstasy (2018), not to be confused with the Canadian drama Ecstasy (2011). Also known as A Thought of Ecstasy, this skinternational flick deals with a sensual search. In addition to serving as director and co-writing the screenplay with Torsten Neumann, actor RP Kahl (a.k.a. Rolf Peter Kahl) takes on the starring role of Frank Patrick. He’s a writer who returns to a dystopian America after being away for 20 years so he can reconnect with the woman (Lena Morris) he once loved. Throughout his journey, he meets two other women: Liz Archer (Deborah Kara Unger) and a sex worker named Nina (Ava Verne). In their unique ways, these inspirational ladies stir Frank up. We also get stirred up during the process. This is especially true when Mr. Kahl appears in the nude. Just 10 minutes into the pic, we see his dick! Yes, RP is fully naked from head to cock as he has sex with a gal on the rocks. He also flashes his back and ass while in bed at the movie’s 44-minute mark. Later, Rolf Peter reveals his peter and sack! This indie flick’s tagline reads: “Love is immortal. Seduction is inevitable. Revenge is irresistible.” Yet we’d like to add the line: “Masturbation is unavoidable.” In other words, everyone wants to experience Ecstasy!
