Exhibition (2013)

A beautiful modernist house in London serves as the corrosive conduit for a failing marriage in the emotional UK drama Exhibition (2013).The film follows married couple D (Viviane Albertine), a shy performance artist and H (Liam Gillick), a sensitive and unsure architect who is in constant need of reassurance. The two rarely communicate with each other, but when they do, it’s usually by speaker phone. When husband and wife decide to sell their beloved house they’ve lived in for two decades, there is an anxiety-filled upheaval that slowly shakes the fragile foundation of their already faltering union. Thankfully this upheaval also provides moments of fornication between the two, leading to a couple satisfying looks at Gillick’s butt and backsack. Thanks for the exhibition, Liam!
