Fast Sofa (2001)

The 2001 adventure flick Fast Sofa follows Rick (Jake Busey), an obsessive Los Angeles-based, drug-addled, heavy metal dude that decides to take a road trip to Palm Springs to visit his favorite porn star, Ginger (Jennifer Tilly). Great idea, Rick! But it’s an idea that obviously doesn’t sit well with his girlfriend, Tamara (Natasha Lyonne). Along the way to Ginger’s house, Rick picks up Jules (Crispin Glover), a neurotic, bird-crazed man-child, who has just recently been mugged and implores Rick to let him come along for the ride. Sure, why not! Jules isn’t the only weirdo he meets—he crosses paths with bowling alley slut Tracy (Bijou Phillips), attempts to have sex with her and gets beaten up by her jealous brother. When Rick finally meets up with his porn obsession, he receives an unwelcomed surprise from her very jealous husband (Eric Roberts) and he quickly learns a thing or two about life. At the same time, we learn that Jake Busey has a fine behind and Adam Goldberg looks great with his shirt off.
