Happyland (2014)

The MTV soapy teen dramedy Happyland follows Lucy Velez (Bianca A. Santos), a typically cynical seventeen-year-old girl whose single mother, Gloria (Camille Guaty), is employed as a fairy tale princess at a local theme park. Lucy has been raised in the shadow of the park and her mother’s noticeable immaturity. In an attempt to get out of that smothering shadow, the teenager attempts to earns a job working for a do-gooder organization, but the mess-of-a-mother does all she can to kill Lucy’s chances. When she’s not taking care of her mother, Lucy is exploring her crush on Ian (Shane Harper), son of the park’s owner, and the handsome hunk that also works at the park as Ricky Raccoon, which inevitably leads to the classic rich boy-poor girl fling. And all this sexual tension leads to a great look at Shane Harper’s sweaty abs in the pilot episode. Now that’s a hunk that will take you to your Happyland!
