House of Sand (2005)

Brazilian drama House of Sand (2005) tells the story of Aurea (Fernanda Torres) who is pregnant when she moves with her mother and husband to a community out in the desert. She hates living there and longs to leave. When her husband passes away she finds life there with a newborn and her mother to care for difficult and the idea of leaving just a far off dream.
