Kung Fu (2021-2022)

Kung Fu (2021) this series follows a Chinese American young woman named Nicky Shen who is in her mid-twenties. She is experiencing a quarter-life crisis which inspires her to drop out of college and go to a monastery in rural China. After her time spent there, she goes back to her hometown and learns that it has gone into disrepair. Crime runs rampant and politicians are corrupt. She decides to take the things that she learned at the monastery and her martial arts prowess to help people in her hometown find justice and peace. Plus there is a twist when a secret assassin winds up murdering her Shaolin mentor. Now, the secretive killer is tracking Nicky down, so Nicky has to evade them to save her life and prepare to eventually battle them in order to save her own life. This is a lot of responsibility for one young woman in her mid-twenties, but we support Nicky on her journeys! We especially support Nicky when we learn that she has some really good times with hot men. Gavin Stenhouse plays Evan Hartley who is an all-American-looking hunk with big muscles, dirty blond hair, and a winning smile that makes his bright eyes twinkle. What. A. Hunk! Gavin is built like a brick house with his muscular body. This Herculean hottie shows up shirtless to show off a chiseled chest for the gods. Those abs? We would battle any number of Shaolin assassins in order to get up close and personal with those abs.
