Lost Highway (1997) is a head trip of a movie directed by David Lynch that tells the story of jazz saxophonist Fred Madison (Bill Pullman) who is framed for the murder of his wife Renee (Patricia Arquette). Fred's living the dream in LA with a cool job and a hot wife, until he gets sent a few Vhs tapes of the two of them sleeping in bed. Weird. One night he goes to an industry party and a man (Robert Blake) tells him that, despite being right in front of him, he's actually in his house. Weirder. The next morning, Fred awakens to find Renee dead and is locked up for the crime. Mr. Man would probably name Robert Blake his prime suspect, but whatever. Suddenly, one day in prison Fred becomes mechanic Pete Dayton (Balthazar Getty) which confuses everyone, including Pete. Sent home to live with his parents, Pete starts getting mysterious Vhs tapes and phone calls from the mystery man who had contacted Fred at the party, which makes him even more terrified than Fred ever was! Then he starts turning back into Fred again, and things really get confusing. Good luck figuring out what's going on in this Lynchian mystery that has achieved full on cult classic status over the years. At least we get to watch some hot men getting it on! Balthazar gets his freak on with both Natasha Gregson Wagner and Patricia Arquette, baring his ass in both scenes! Those tight buns will set you on the road to shooting a huge load! Lost Highway is a skintastic flick that will bend your brain into a pretzel while you bend you family jewels into a pleasure filled knot.
