Madagascar Skin (1996)

The romantic comedy Madagascar Skin (1995) tells the story of Harry (John Hannah), a sad and lonely homosexual that finds himself spurned by the gay community due to a burgundy birthmark in the shape of the country of Madagascar on his face. One day, the despondent dude goes for a ride and ends up on a deserted beach where he stumbles across Flint (Bernard Hill), a quirky heterosexual dude that’s buried up to his head in sand, waiting for the tide to rise. The two dudes end up becoming friends and eventually move in together. Harry begins to develop strong feelings for Flint, but he feels the need to hide his homosexuality from his new buddy in fear of losing his friendship. It seems like it’s just a matter of time before the two hook up, and when John Hannah and Bernard Hill shuck their shirts and get intimate, you’ll get intimate with yourself!
