Return to Paradise (1998)

Would you save your friend's life if it meant you'd face prison time? This is the exact horrifying predicament that Sheriff (Vince Vaughn) and his bud Tony (David Conrad) find themselves in years after a crazy drug-fueled boys trip to Malaysia with their bud Lewis (Joaquin Phoenix) in 1998's Return to Paradise. Lewis stayed in Malaysia, and ended up getting arrested for dubious activities shared in by Sheriff and Lewis. Authorities give Tony and Sheriff a choice: Lewis gets the death penalty, or Tony and Sheriff (currently living in the USA) turn themselves into Malaysian authorities and all three boys serve three years in prison. What. Would. You. Do?
