Mystery Team (2009)

Donald Glover, Dominic Dierkes, and DC Pierson make up the comedy trio known as Derrick Comedy and their first—and to date, only—feature film Mystery Team (2009) casts the three twenty-somethings as precocious detectives in the vein of Encyclopedia Brown or The Hardy Boys. While it may have been cute when they were kids, the team now mostly gets sideways glances from these stunted adults, but when a double homicide occurs in town, the Mystery Team becomes determined to solve the case themselves and prove that they're big boys after all! Before exploding the following year on Community, Donald Glover steals the show here with a sexy shirtless scene, as well as a scene at a strip club where he sports a hilarious erection in his pants!
