In 2036, the US is still the predominant military power in the world and at the cutting edge of soldier technology.  When a civil war breaks out in the Ukraine, the US sends in the Marines as well as a bevy of un-maned drones to help squash any Pro-Russian forces with ease, Outside the Wire.  Piloting one of these drones from the safety of a computer screen far away is Lt. Harp (Damson Idris), who finds himself hovering above a group of soldiers caught in an ambush.  He goes against orders, fires a missile that accidentally kills 2 soldiers, but saves over 30 others... So he is quietly punished for disobeying an order but still being somewhat of a hero.  He's given the unenviable task of serving on the front lines of this fire fight and is partnered up with Leo (Anthony Mackie), who is a "Gump", an android super soldier masquerading as an officer.  When these two misfits figure out that bad guy Victor Koval (Pilou Asbæk) is pretending to be on a humanitarian mission to vaccinate the refugee camps, they learn he is instead trying to get control of all the old Soviet missile silos all over east and need to jump into action to kick some bad guy ass!  As the plot unfolds we learn what each soldier holds true to themselves as "valor" and what is right in this future world of constant warfare between super soldiers.  We also get to learn that Anthony Mackie has definitely got a "super soldier" worthy body without a shirt on, so definitely enjoy him flexing that torso in one scene!
