The Mad Hatter (2021)

The Mad Hatter (2021) is directed by Cate Devaney and it actually has very little to do with the famous Alice in Wonderland figure. We love him, but this movie is not about him! This film is about a sleep study that goes horribly wrong. A young man named Henry signs up for a psychology professor's sleep study with three of his peers. They volunteer for a weekend in a haunted mansion dubbed the "Mad Hatter" mansion where they conduct the study that has them staying in the mansion all weekend. They soon start hallucinating...but wait, are those hallucinations or ghosts?! They start to believe that the things that they are seeing and feeling are not just sleep-deprived hallucinations or dreams. These are all ghosts and other supernatural terrors. They start to wonder if that was part of this "study" and if there was ever any actual study at all. We won't spoil anything here, so you will have to watch it to find out the truth behind the Mad Hatter mansion and the sleep study, but you won't want to sleep on actor Nick Miller who plays Ian. He delivers some sexy shirtlessness when he is in bed with a woman at night. The scene is rather dark - as is most of this movie, to be honest - but we do get to enjoy snippets of his pecs, lean arms, and sleek abs. In fact, checking out Nick Miller shirtless in the dark will drive you as mad as a hatter.
