Pieces of Her (2022) is a Netflix original series that stars Toni Collette and Bella Heathcote as a mother and daughter duo. They take a trip to the mall on a Saturday afternoon and things change forever. A man pulls a gun out at the mall and her mom protects her and fights back against the man. Then she tells her daughter that she has to leave town immediately, no questions asked. Oh, and she gives her daughter a gun. Um....what?! She does what her mommy asks, but she is filled with questions. She has no idea who her mother really is and why any of this is happening. Is it possible for her to leave town and protect herself while also trying to figure out the mysteries of her mother?
