Queen of the Damned (2002)

Based on Anne Rice’s third novel in the Vampire Chronicles series, Queen of the Damned (2002) tells the story of Akasha, the ancient Egyptian queen who is the progenitrix of all vampires, and Lestat (Stuart Townsend), a vampire masquerading as a rock star. Rock stars have great lives, unless their music awakens the Queen of the undead who wants to make that rock star her king.  Talk about taking a bite out of someone’s action.

We all know vampires are sexy beasts who enjoy biting, blood and boning.  Townsend’s Lestat fits all those criteria, except he fills them while clothed.  His garments are skimpy and accentuate his stunning features and scrumptious bod, but a glimpse of his wooden stake would have been enough to raise the dead.
