Ready, Steady, Charlie! (2003)

The zany Swiss comedy Ready, Steady, Charlie! (2003) follows Antonio (Michael Koch), a young dude who gets yanked from the alter of his own wedding and dragged away to boot camp by the military police. Ends up the Swiss have a mandatory military service that Antonio opted to try and skip, and the government isn't happy about it. Anxious to get back to Laura (Mia Aegerter), his blushing bride, Antonio concocts various plans to get kicked out of the military. After a bunch of them fail, he comes up with what sounds like the funnest one: if he manages to have sex with the female recruit Michelle (Melanie Winiger), who just so happens to be the sexy daughter of the mean and oppressive commander (Marco Rima) that gives Antonio nothing but orders, then he'll get tossed for sure. After all, sex is strictly forbidden! It sounds like a decent plan, except that Laura's family is tied to the mafia and think Antonio just ran out on her and Antonio's not quite the ladies' man he thinks he is! Let the laughs begin!
