in Coopers' Camera, it's Christmas 1985, a simpler and more dysfunctional time, especially when Gord Cooper (Jason Jones) brings home the family's first real "professional-grade VHS recorder" to capture the holiday festivities. Dysfunction doesn't even begin to capture the truly pitch blackness of this family with all the uncle boinking, cousins stripping for their little cousins for cash, scatological humor between brothers, and overall insanity that comes along with the candid recorded moments that this VHS camcorder catches. If you can remember back that far, VHS tapes were a hot commodity, so recording over old tapes were all the rage, well Gord just so happened to record over his friend's (Dave Foley) sex tapes, so interjected in this flick is quite a bit of his "Kid" and his "Hall" making cameos throughout the found footage vehicle. Also, Peter Keleghan gives you a close up on his jockey hugged bulge, and Jason Jones gives you a taste of his side rump while taking a dump.
