Romulus (2020-2022)

Historical epics have a way of delivering nudity, and while The Italian series Romulus isn't Spartacus - not by a long shot, let's be real. Oh, Spartacus. Come to daddy. Anyway - it does deliver nudity of note! This takes us back to the founding of Rome all of the way back in the eighth century B.C. Twin brothers Romulus and Remus are central figures in Roman mythology, and Romulus the series sees the creation of Rome through these brothers' eyes. In typical historical television fashion, Romulus is filled with dramatic and bloody battle sequences. leather accessories, wigs, etc, but Romulus stands out from the pack by using archaic Latin instead of Italian. By embuing myth with historical accuracy, Romulus garnered critical acclaim not seen by some of its contemporaries. But back to the nudity.
