The Divide (2014)

Airing for just one season in 2014, WE TV's The Divide is a legal drama series that follows the war that erupts between a group fighting to overturn wrongful convictions of prisoners on death row and the District Attorney and his team of prosecutors who are convinced they got the right guy. The anti-death penalty party is led by Christina Rosa (Marin Ireland), a tough as nails young broad who works for Philly's The Innocence Initiative. She's become obsessed with "The Butler Case," an old murder where a black family in very white neighborhood were apparently murdered by Jared Bankowski (Chris Bauer), who had his DNA under the victim's fingernails, and Terry Kucik (Joe Anderson), who swears he was secretly having an affair with a woman in the house and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The problem is, lone survivor Jenny (Britne Oldford) doubts his story, and is good friends with the prosecutor turned DA (Damon Gupton) who made his mark by putting these dudes on death row. Needless to say, these two groups are constantly at odds with one another, despite having the same goal, bringing the guilty to justice. Originally developed for AMC, WE viewers didn't love it, but we did thanks to the sexy dudes willing to show some skin. Justice may or may not be served, but the wrongfully accused Joe Anderson really serves up some beefcake when he shucks his shirt and shows off his manly body while banging his lady friend. We watched that scene over ten times, and don't feel guilty about it at all! Mr. Man would like to get into Joe’s divide!
