The Flash (2023)

Troubled productions don't come much more troubled than that of DC Comics' first feature film outing for The Flash (2023)! Originally announced to be released in the spring of 2018, the film went through multiple directors and screenwriters before finally landing on It (2017) director Andy Muschietti, who puts the titular scarlet speedster through a multiversal adventure. Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) struggles to find the balance between his superhero life and his everyday life, the latter of which is consumed with exonerating his father (Ron Livingston) in the murder of his mother (Maribel Verdú). When a rift in time and space is opened, Barry travels back through other DC films to find heroes to team up with, like Michael Keaton's Batman, in order to take down Man of Steel (2013) villain Zod (Michael Shannon).

The film was a notorious box office flop, but that's an unfair branding for being one of the only multi-million dollar superhero movies to feature nudity! Non-binary star Ezra Miller bares their butt during a scene where their clothing catches on fire, and while we would've liked a longer look at those buns, we'll settle for The Flash that we get!
