The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human (1999)

The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human (1999) is a comedy by writer and director Jeff Abugov about an anthropologist from outside of Earth - that is a friendly way to say from another planet - is narrating a documentary about humanity. That's the movie that we are watching, an alien documentary about human mating rituals. David Hyde Pierce is our alien narrator as he takes us through human rituals of dating, mating, and reproducing. Carmen Electra stars as the male Female and Mackenzie Astin plays The Male as they meet at a club and connect. The rest of the cast includes amazing performances by Markus Redmond, Lucy Liu, Lisa Rotondi, Jack Kehler, and so many more in this unique late 90s mockumentary. The beautiful, blue-eyed Mackenzie Astin is a worthy subject in this "documentary". We get to see him shirtless in three scenes where he has sex with his mate, Carmen Electra. He is an adorable, coy subject. When this auburn-haired hottie gets undressed for sex, we see the curly patches of hair on his chest and flat stomach. In one scene, he struggles to put a condom on, but the camera stays above the waist. That means that we only see his hands fumble and his adorable face look both apologetic and excited before he is really ready to go. It's unfortunate that we never see anything below the waist in any of these scenes. He leaves us dying to see more explicit mating habits from this earthbound human!
