The Outsider (2018)

The Outsider (2018) is Jared Leto - or more specifically, his character Nick, who served in World War II for the Americans but ended up in Japanese prison after a long stint as a POW. Obviously, you've got to be tough as a two-dollar steak to get by in the prison of a country yours was at war with just ten years ago, which Nick very much is. In prison, Nick saves a dude named Kiyoshi's (Tadanobu Asano) life, which puts him in the good graces of the Yakuza. Soon enough, he's an honorary member of the Shiramatsu sector of the gang, who is boning Kiyoshi's sister Miyo (Shioli Kutsuna) and acting as an enforcer for the mob known by the badass nickname "The Outsider." When the Shiramatsu's go to war over the port of Osaka with the Seizu gang, Nick assumes his enemies are going to be Seizu gangsters. Instead, it's Orochi (Kippei Shiina), the jealous ex-boyfriend of Miyo and Kiyoshi's former right-hand man who will turn on his brothers, leading to a sweet katana duel with a now fully tatted Nick. The Yakuza might make you chop off your own finger for attrition, but we're sure you'd still figure out some kind of grip to grab your samurai sword with seeing Todanobu Asano's ass! He's covered head to toe in Yakuza tattoos while slumped over some kind of weird prison bath, which lets us see his squatting keister. An equally nude but hiding the good stuff Jared is giving all sorts of sexy glares at him from his side of the shower. Bearded, with long hair, are we sure there wasn't something going on there? Maybe Orochi isn't jealous about how close Nick was getting with Miyo, but that Nick was Kiyoshi's new butt buddy? Not to out anyone, but it's not hard to read between the lines watching The Outsider!
