We wish producers would make a pact to find unique titles for their projects. Otherwise, there’s too many same-named productions such as the thriller The Pact (1976), the small screen drama The Pact (2002), the documentary The Pact (2006), the R rated flick The Pact (2012), the chiller diller The Pact (2018), the video The Pact (2020), the biopic The Pact (2021), the mystery series The Pact (2021-), the sci-fi saga The Pact (2022-), and the TV movie The Pact (2017). Not to be confused with the short film The Pact (2017), the latter film takes a comical look at relationships. The action kicks in when two teens named Amy (Scarlett Murphy) and Andy (Jamie Ward) make a pact that if they’re still single by the time they’re 35 years old, they’ll marry each other. Twenty years go by and now that Amy (Sarah Solemani) and Andy (Brett Goldstein) have grown up, they’ve unfortunately drifted apart. But, as you can guess, the sexy ex-friends bump into each other as adults. Will this chance encounter bring them romantically together? Or will they both pretend that they never made a pact to begin with? Most importantly, will the movie offer some dudity? We can’t answer the first two questions but we will tell you that Mr. Goldstein touts his hairy chest during a bedroom scene. Note, we didn’t say sex scene. Instead, the topless hottie is in bed by himself, talking on the phone. If he hangs up, does that make him well hung?
