The Sin of Adam and Eve (1969)

Mexican filmmaker Miguel Zacarías was a prolific craftsman of low budget fare, even in light of the fact that he lived to be 101 years old, and we remember him most fondly for his attempt at a Biblical epic film with The Sin of Adam and Eve (1969). As the title implies, it tells the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, with Mexican actor Jorge Rivero taking on the role of the first man. The film is realistic in that the characters don’t really speak to each other at all, instead gesturing in order to communicate, and also in that the characters are blessedly nude the entire time. As it turns out, Adam was a ripped, golden hunk of a man. Rivero shows off his sculpted torso throughout the film, and gives us several substantial looks at his ass, which is tempting and plump enough to make anyone want to commit original sin. How Zacarías didn’t die from lust immediately upon seeing his young stud’s bare flesh in the flesh is anyone’s guess, but seeing it here sure took some years off our lives, and we couldn’t be happier about it!
